Delivering Civil Infrastructure for the City of West Kelowna

Awarded through a competitive public bidding process, First Tracks Contracting completed extensive excavation and civil site development work for the City of West Kelowna's Utilities Yard.

Over approximately 10 months, our team carried out excavation, underground utility installations, site preparation and finishing work to support the development of the municipal facility.

The project included excavations reaching approximately 3.5 metres deep for drywell installations, along with water and sewer servicing, power connections, parking lot construction and final site grading.

Working to engineered drawings and elevations, First Tracks coordinated with Accu Surveying to establish accurate layouts and maintain project specifications.

With building construction taking place simultaneously, our crew also worked closely with the building contractor to maintain site access and allow interior construction to continue while exterior civil work progressed.

Our scope included coordinating subcontracted fencing and powered gate installations as part of the site's final development.
